Upon arrival at the first stop, Cueva del Indio + seven arches of Arecibo, we will briefly discuss our indigenous Taino ancestors, the arrival of the Spanish, and what defines a Karst region.

After viewing the gorgeous ocean-side cliffs and shooting photos, the tour will continue inland to a section of Rio Tanama, cooling off in the freshwater, enjoying the beauty of two waterfalls, and relaxing in one of Puerto Rico’s best kept gems.

• Comfortable and Supportive Closed-toe shoes to HIKE that may get wet/muddy (no water shoes or flip flops)
• Hiking attire that can get wet/muddy(swimming suits are optional however must already be on underneath your hiking clothes)
• Towel 
• Comfortable change of clothes(optional for the ride home)
• Unnecessary items/baggage will be safe/locked in the vehicle

• ANY guests who regularly face difficulty with severe breathing complications, epilepsy, and heart conditions are NOT allowed to engage in this excursion.
